Serving
- Overhand Serve:
- Toss the ball slightly in front of you.
- Swing your arm overhand, striking the ball with the heel of your hand.
- Aim for a strong and accurate serve.
Passing
- Forearm Pass (Bump):
- Keep your arms straight and close together.
- Use your forearms to contact the ball.
- Bend your knees and use your legs to absorb the impact.
- Overhead Pass (Set):
- Position your hands above your forehead.
- Extend your fingers and make contact with your fingertips.
- Push the ball upwards to set it for a teammate.
- Digging:
- Position yourself low and on your toes.
- Use your forearms to dig under the ball.
- Aim to keep the ball in play and set up a counter-attack.
Setting
- Hand Positioning: Place your hands in a “W” shape above your forehead.
- Techniques:
- Use your fingers to push the ball upwards.
- Ensure a clean release without spinning the ball.
Attacking
Hitting:
- Approach the net with a powerful jump.
- Swing your arm with force to drive the ball downward.
- Aim for gaps in the opponent's defense.
Blocking
- Types:
- Single Block: One player jumps to block an opponent's attack.
- Double Block: Two players jump together to form a wall against the attack.
- Positioning: Align with the attacker’s approach and time your jump to meet the ball.
